Temple

In the dying days

Your light fades

I just wish I could see the way

To turn back the clock

To a time when I gave a fuck

You smile radiant and sunny

I remember something you said

that was funny

It set of your pretty Eyes

Made me forget the lies

I wish I could see the point

Annointed in your religion

I pray to the temple of your body

Sweet and salty sweat drips

Down my forehead into my mouth

In the early days

You shone so bright

You soul unending light

everything just felt so right

Now I’m lost in eternal night.
