Left Inside.

“My head fell apart” and she was nowhere to be found,
instead of me she chose the crown,
in the depths of poverty my leg was snared,
my future she was unable to bear,
to my twins arms she fell,
his wealth a welcome change,
I was left behind,
mired within time,
all the while losing my mind,
with nothing left I leave it behind,
quietly piecing together my psyche,
it all happened right when it left me.
